The What’s Possible project puts low-wealth communities at the center of the conversation and serves as a crucial guidebook for how to construct a resilient and equitable tomorrow. By showcasing feasible solutions offered by a diverse group of experts—including practitioners, community leaders, and investors—this collection of essays provides insights into development and climate resilience, communities on the front lines, green infrastructure and energy systems, and how to finance a resilient future. Each chapter demonstrates how cross-sector, all-hands-on-deck collaborations are vital to constructing a better future.

In his essay, Calvin delves into the relationship between land use and…well, everything else, including transportation. He starts off by explaining that “though it may seem counterintuitive, investments and strategies for more equitable land use are the most important path to ensuring that everyone, no matter who they are or where they live, has access to greener forms of transportation—including electric vehicles (EVs), public transit, and forms of micro-mobility, such as bicycles and scooters.”

There is a free download of the book available. Learn from Calvin and other leaders striving for a more resilient, sustainable, and equitable future. Get access today!
