The battle is on in Congress this week for the final version of the next federal transportation bill.

In one corner, the Senate and its version which includes strong language to make streets safer across the country. In the other corner, the House and its version which falls far short.

Which will win?

Tell your members of Congress to adopt the Senate’s version of the transportation bill >>

Negotiations are under way this week to reconcile the two versions of the bill.

The Senate’s bill is far stronger on Complete Streets. Specifically, section 12208 of the Senate’s draft includes language that requires cities and governments to use a Complete Streets approach when using federal dollars to build new streets or improve existing ones.

We’re working to make sure the Senate’s language wins out. Will you help?

Help make sure Complete Streets language is included in the final bill. Send a letter to your representatives today.

This is our final chance to make a Complete Streets approach a built-in part of federally funded transportation projects. Sending a letter takes only a minute, but will help communities for years to come. Send a letter to your members of Congress today.
