Elected officials and municipal staff from non-metropolitan areas are encouraged to join Transportation for America on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 for an online presentation about how to use the 2012 federal transportation bill to fund rural transportation projects.

Investing in a variety of transportation options – like public transportation, vanpooling, bicycling, walking and safe roads and bridges – is crucial for stronger, more resilient communities in our nation’s rural areas. The new federal transportation bill has changed the way communities can access transportation dollars and what these funds may be used for. Next week’s webinar will explain how.
